How to - How can I add "EPIC" as an issue type under project settings for a new Kaban board?

 I created a new track (the data-products track) but I am not able to create epics there (there isn't an option for type of issue "epic").

I can you go to `Project Settings` > `Issue Type` > `Add Issue Type` and no EPIC option appears there by default. Is not an option when I try and add it.

There is a recently created board that was that I would like to add the issue type option for EPIC.

Can you please help me? Instructions?
