Hey Everyone,

We're currently using JIRA Software/SD and Confluence (Cloud). And would like to know how to setup the SSO part with internal domain controllers using active directory.

Not sure if we should use SAML or OpsGenie, whats the difference? And are there extra costs for either one?

Thanks in advance.

"OpsGenie" in this context is completely off-target, nothing to do with SSO

You will need to use SAML, via Atlassian Access (you'll have to purchase it). Your AD/Domain controllers side needs to be able to expose a SAML endpoint i.e. you will need an IdP - usually customers deploy ADFS, but it is also possible to have your AD sync with Azure AD or another cloud-based IdP.

This is really a question to your Infrastructure Team, your Solution Architects, your IT Security Team, not to the Atlassian community...
