Fun & Free way to do Scrum Poker with your Remote Team

Are you the type of team that likes to change things up and make it more entertaining to do otherwise very strict and mundane tasks? This one might be just for you!

Once a week when the grooming sessions are up, our team discovered a free and very fun way to play scrum poker. We started using the teams chat to send cool and funny memes with the points.

Those are just a mere example of the gifs that are running in the Sprint Grooming chat.

For example, in one of the previous grooming sessions I found out that one of my colleague’s favorite number is 8 and that another colleague loved watching cartoons as a little child.

Sharing our story points like this is such a fun way to explore our personalities. It is just another opportunity to get to know our colleagues better especially in a remote team.

We have been doing this for the some time now and in today’s grooming session one of the developers said its his favorite time of the week. How lovely!
