How to unlock banned community account?

Hi there,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to get an account that’s been banned by Atlassian in the community. One of my friends got banned because he posted some promotional content in the Atlassian community.

If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know!

I would recommend reviewing the following Community Guidelines page. Most information about the rules of engagement is stated there (these guidelines were also quite recently updated).

Additionally, you can try to reach out to Community Managers at communitymanagers@atlassian.com with the request to get assistance on this matter.
