How to manage or update your Community account

Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.

Upon joining the Atlassian Community, you may decide to update what you share publicly and privately. Things you may want to do:

  • Change your display name
  • Ensure other users are tagging your proper profile (because you have more than one)
  • Avoid getting auto-logged in under the wrong account
  • Update your email because you're leaving a company or want it associated with a personal email

The good news: Most of these things are self-serve! However, a couple of them require assistance from the Community team. Before you reach out to us, please make sure you have reviewed our official guide:

Two important things: 1) We cannot merge accounts, but we can move activity from an old account to a new one; 2) When asking us to help you troubleshoot, please always reference your Community profile URL in addition to the relevant email address.
