It’s amazing how quickly time flies, right? Summer always seems to pass by in the blink of an eye, but I’m grateful for the memories it brings! Over the summer, I was fortunate enough to check off one of my dream travel destinations: Kauai, Hawaii. This island was everything I’d hoped for and more lush landscapes, stunning beaches, and, perhaps the highlight for me, an incredible array of beautiful birds that made each day even more memorable.
Exploring Kauai allowed me to reconnect with nature on a deeper level. The island’s famous Nene geese and other native birds were truly mesmerizing(https://hawaiiislandkauai.com/), each one a unique symbol of Hawaii's natural beauty. I spent hours bird-watching, soaking in the serene sounds and vibrant colors that these birds bring to the landscape. The experience was both relaxing and inspiring, making me appreciate even more the wildlife that makes Hawaii so special.
This summer, I didn’t just visit a new place; I immersed myself in the natural wonders of Kauai and brought home memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. It was a summer of discovery and nature for me—so yes, I did exactly what I planned and then some! I’d love to hear more about what everyone else was up to this summer, too!
This summer turned out to be one of my favorite ones ever. I did what I had planned, and by that, I mean traveling. I visited Georgia ( the country ) and was mesmerized by it. I had an amazing time, got to know new people and a new culture, and ate the best food I've ever had. During my short-term stay in Tbilisi, I rented an apartment. I just wanted to feel more like a native rather than staying at a hotel. It was an amazing experience.
