For me, smell is the strongest trigger of memories. A combination of scents at the right temperature can evoke some fleeting moments. Recently, a new fabric softener took me back 15 years, straight to my Erasmus time in Greece!
Taste is also powerful, but in a different way. It can trigger memories about when and where I first tried that thing.
And of course, music can also bring back the emotions and feelings from the past.

Mine is songs, when I hear them all past memories come back. Sometimes, it feels like they are records of our past and with each chorus a part of our memories will be played in our mind.
