I will start first:

INS Kursura Submarine Museum: It's always a unique experience exploring this decommissioned submarine and learning about naval history. I get goosebumps after listening and witnessing the it's history and feat.

Mangamaripeta beach: While I love all the beaches in Vizag, "Mangamaripeta Beach" holds a special place in my heart. It's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city, less crowded, and offers a serene and picturesque environment that brings me peace.

Ramakrishna Beach or RK Beach holds a special place in my heart.

Stretching along the Bay of Bengal, it offers breathtaking views and many activities. I enjoy walking slowly along the beach, relaxing in the sunshine, and watching the beautiful sunsets.

For first-time visitors, RK Beach is a must-visit! It's the perfect spot to experience the essence of Visakhapatnam.

Hi @Gouthami , "Mangamaripeta beach sounds perfect for a peaceful escape! I love the idea of a less crowded beach. Do you have any recommendations for the best time to visit or things to do there?" Thanks for sharing.

Hi @Rakesh Vajrapu  I'm so glad you shared your experience at RK Beach. It's one of my favorite spots in Visakhapatnam. I'm curious, you mentioned walking along the beach and relaxing. Are there any particular spots you recommend?

Hi @G subramanyam Sir,

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy RK Beach as much as I do. 😊

For those leisurely walks, I particularly enjoy the stretch towards the end of the beach near the lighthouse. It's less crowded and offers a more peaceful atmosphere.

For relaxing, I often find a spot under one of the casuarina trees closer to the beginning of the beach. They provide some shade and a nice breeze.

Hi @G subramanyam ,

I would recommend the following for Mangamaripeta Beach:

  • The best time to go is on weekends when you'll see more people around. Start your day with a cozy and warm sunrise, listening to the subtle and soothing sounds of the waves.
  • It is isolated most weekdays, so be a little cautious if you go alone.
  • Carry your own food and water as there are no nearby food stalls, or very few.
  • There are no petrol bunks along the way, so make sure you fill your tank.
  • Public transport is also not frequent. I suggest using a private vehicle.
  • There is also a Lord Ram temple just opposite this place. Visit around and get the blessings.
  • RK Beach to Bheemili is my favorite road. Go on a solo drive, take breaks at Tenneti Park, the TTD temple, Mangamaripeta Beach, and end at Bheemili Beach. There will be minimal traffic on Sunday mornings, making it one of the best Sundays.

I recently visited Buddhist park 🏞️ near Kailsagiri mountain view point and I liked it very much. The place was filled with all age groups.
