From what I've allegedly heard this is not a priority for the organization. Because of that aspect there are allegedly a wide arrange of technical issues that appear not to be able to get resolved due to lack of engineering prioritization. Thus the likelihood of Atlassian getting any of these products through Fedramp anytime soon appears not to be in the "Don't call us we'll call you category"
While some may say they don't agree with this assessment, you can further infer since NO ONE has come onto this board to state otherwise from Atlassian, to provide ANY updates. That they are no where close to getting this through and we are all still left ripping our Atlassian solutions out of networks.
Since no one wants to provide any updates that would further infer they don't know and have no confidence of when it may happen.
Again this appears to be a lack of prioritization with fingers pointed at the CSuite and not the workers.
Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.

Hi all,
Thank you for your continued questions about, and interest in, FedRAMP. I know many of you are eagerly waiting for an update on our progress. I want to let you know that we’re still working towards our In Process designation on the FedRAMP marketplace and we hope to share more information about this milestone with you very soon. We are also still on track to achieve Moderate Authorization to Operate by Q1 2025. In fact, Rae Wang - our Head of Product for Enterprise Platform - talked about FedRAMP and our compliance investments just last week at Team 24; check out the recording for a recap.
In regard to our initial product offering, nothing has changed since my last update - we plan to offer FedRAMP Moderate for Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
When it comes to our compliance investments beyond FedRAMP Moderate, we have announced becoming C5 and IRAP compliant in FY26 and we will continue to update our roadmap further as those details become available.
Stay tuned for more FedRAMP Moderate updates soon and let us know if you have more questions!
@Joe Elgabalawi Appreciate the update. Is there a confidence level in these dates? I don't want to sound rude, but it used to be Q2 2024, then Q4 2024, and now we are talking 2025? The updates are so few and far between that it is really difficult tracking. Any chance you all can make a better project map to share and keep the dates updated...even if there is slippage?
How will migration work for current clients? We do not want to invest in more API integrations if we are going to have to resetup everything in FedRAMP tenant. Please advise if it will be a different SKU and if so, how will migrations work?
I saw on the FedRAMP Marketplace today that Atlassian has progressed to the "In Agency Review" status as of 7/11/2024. I haven't yet seen that on any Atlassian site.
It would be helpful if Atlassian could provide some information on how you are tracking to the Q1-2025 goal for FedRAMP moderate. I run a team responsible for developer productivity for an engineering org of roughly 350 engineers. We need a FedRAMP moderate solution for ticketing, and are deciding whether to wait on Jira's Cloud's moderate certification or lean into alternate solutions. Given the number of times this feature has been pushed back, without confirmation that you are tracking to early FY25, we'll likely need to look at alternate (but otherwise less attractive) solutions. Would really appreciate an update.
