The Atlassian Security team is proud to announce that our Security Detections Program won an international industry award!
The CSO50 awards recognises organisations from around the world for security projects and initiatives that demonstrate outstanding business value and thought leadership. The CSO Hall of Fame is bestowed upon the individuals whose work has advanced the CSO/CISO role, secured business, and inspired others in the industry.
The disruptive events of 2020 – combined with sophisticated and far-reaching attacks like SolarWinds – brought new challenges and costs to organisations, their security leaders, and business outcomes,” said Amy Bennett, executive editor of CSO. “Our annual CSO50 Awards recognise security teams that bring innovation and thought leadership to solving for the many risks their organisations continue to face. This year’s class of CSO50 winners represent an elite group of risk and security thought leaders, and we are pleased to give them the recognition they deserve.
Read more about the winner; The Detections Program encompasses concepts, automation tooling, frameworks and specific work engineered by security analysts to reduce the impact of security incidents by detecting potential or realised breaches.
All detections are created live in a structured data store, enabling us to scale, metricise our work, and leverage new or existing automations to propagate various elements of each detection to multiple platforms for consumption. Analysts spend 1 week every month working to create detections for specific focus areas and utilising industry frameworks as inspiration and to ensure we target a wide breadth of potential attack vectors.
Our Chief Information Security Officer @Adrian Ludwig and Technical owner Christian Burrows will accept its award at the CSO50 Conference + Awards held on November 16-18, 2021.
Christian Burrows will also be presenting on our Detections Program, you don’t want to miss this!
Congratulations to the Security Detections Program and the Atlassian Security team.
