Why does the date on my board not change?

The tasks completed cannot be dragged into a new board with yesterday's date? Or a Butler can not be set up to automatically change the date on the "Done today" list to be yesterday's date over night.

@Andrea Williams can you show an example of what you're trying to accomplish? I'm not sure I understand. Butler does have a lot of automation with due dates, so you should be able to accomplish what you're looking for under the Automation --> Due Dates section, and you can use triggers like moving to a new list.
