Trello Butler

Jonathan March 7, 2019
Hallo community, i have a trello gold account. after executing some rules no further ones are executed. I read that there are limitations in the number of executions. However, I have only very few executed, maybe 20 pieces. I also do not understand why that is limited. I have to be able to rely on the rules being executed and I do not want to always have to control. How can I check when rules will be executed again? I really do not like it. I have to rely on automation!

@Jonathan Ferger The Butler integration is nearing release, and they have this Beta form you can fill out if you want access:

You should be able to pay extra to get more commands.

If you need to get some automations happening and don't want to wait until Butler is accepting new users or can't get what you need out of the Beta in time, you can also use Trellinator which is a Google Apps Script library I wrote to automate Trello:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-articles/Introducing-Trellinator-Automate-Trello-with-Google-Apps-Script/ba-p/925271

Although Trellinator commands are harder to code initially (or you need to pay a developer to do them for you) they have the added benefit of not having hard limits on command/automation usage.

Hi @Jonathan Ferger Trello is acquiring Butler. Since you deactivated it you may have to wait until they are accepting new users, which I am told will be soon.

Here is the FAQ on the acquisition:

https://butlerfortrello.com/powerup/1548268048/acquisition-faq.html

there is also a butler specific email for support at the bottom of that document where you could ask if they could possibly re-enable the power-up you already had installed.

Thanks,

Jodi
