Hi guys,
So we don't have any real add ons in trello right now. We have several columns but the main are TODO and FINISHED.
I'm trying to get an idea of how much time employees spend per job on average, so I was trying to take the total hours worked that month by how many jobs got moved to finish. Is there a simple way to do this?
I tried doing a created:month search and ctrl+clicking each card but it's hard to be accurate that way and just doesn't seem to add up with what we actually made, too much chance for error.
Any good free trackers on job time and which jobs ended up being complete vs which we had to cancel, etc?
Tracking other stats would be nice too, but that's my main concern currently
Thanks!
@KRepair Hello. Smart Fields Power-Up can help you. You can check our Advanced project budgeting and time tracking template
You can choose which information to show in the list title. For example average.
How do you track time on a job? Do you have to hit start on a card each time you work on it? The issue is, we jump back and forth between dozens of cards sometimes, which I think makes it difficult to use some of these tools. We're ok just tracking how long a card has been around though

@KRepair No, we don’t have timer..
You should count time spent separately. Smart Fields Power-Up is using to register time spent and do calculations. Like average time spent per job. Track income and expences on the job(project) etc

Hi @KRepair !
Card Time In List for Trello can do the following for you:
- Track time spent in each list
- Track cumulative times spent on the list you specify
- Track time until or past due date
- Export durations to make advanced reports like average times, track stuck cards on a single list etc.
- And many more features…
Cheers!

Hi @KRepair - Thanks for reaching out to the Community! Trello doesn't have a native way to provide a report of all cards that have moved from one list to another. Some workarounds may be to 'watch' each card so that you get updates when there are changes (including when a card is moved): https://help.trello.com/article/799-watching-cards-lists-and-boards
Another method is to create a custom Butler automation that emails you when a card is moved from one specific list to another: https://help.trello.com/article/1198-an-intro-to-butler - You can find out more about Butler here: https://help.trello.com/article/1198-an-intro-to-butler
Lastly, there are a lot of third-party time-tracking and reporting Power-Ups available for Trello: https://trello.com/power-ups/category/it-project-management - I would suggest trying these out to see which one suits your workflow.

Thanks for responding. I'll look at some of those third party tools. For now, as a workaround, I just use our invoicing software to get an idea
