We have a workspace that has multiple boards.  A person got invite to a board but they are showing up as a member when we would like them to be a multi-board guest.  We only want them to have access to 2 boards in the workspace.  How do we go about making them a multi-board guest?  We have the standard version of Trello.

Multi-board guests are users that are not a member of a Standard or Premium Workspace but have been invited to more than one Workspace board.

This means if you want them to be considered a "multi-board guest", then you would remove them from your Workspace.

Here's how.

You say you don't want them to show up "as a member". A member of what? The board? If so, then do you mean you only want them to have read-only access to the board? Then what you are looking for is an observer, which is only available with Trello Premium.

If by member you mean member of the workspace, then the instructions above will work for you.

PLEASE NOTE: In Trello Standard (and Premium),  Multi-board guests are billed at the same rate as a normal Workspace member.
