Problem with lack of checklist's items update in cards

Hi,

I've noticed a lot of issues with updating items in checklists. Some items which I've recently added disappears and old one which I deleted a few days ago are being restored without my permission.

I guess it could be related to some recent software update.

Could someone fix this issue?

Is this happening on a mobile, desktop, or web version? We didn't have any reports of issues with checklists, can you give us more details?

I use web and mobile version and there is problem with both.

More details which could help reproduce issue:
0. Do that in web app
1. Create 2 items with some messages within checklist1
2. Move one item to another checklist2.
3. Do that with some other item from checklist1
4. After some time you can notice that items in checklist1 restored.

This is abnormal for sure.

Two comments:
1. Maybe that's problem in sync with cloud?
2. I use very long checklist. Some of them have around 100 items.

Thanks for the details. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. Is there any chance that you can record a loom so I can see if I'm missing something? I know this is a public space, and that's ok if you can't share.

There's no issue with the checklist having a lot of items. Currently, there's no limit to the number of items, so it shouldn't be related to this. Can you try clearing cache and cookies for both mobile and web to see if the issue persists?

I cannot record due to private data. I am even more worried now, since I see that some items disappeared completely, so the service is not reliable at all. After clearing cache issue persists. 

I realize that it's difficult to resolve issue, when not all data could be shared, so I wonder how to prepare some experiment to give you more data to investigation.

I update apps as soon as possible and I see that issue occurs since no longer than 2 weeks.

I found that another person came across on the similar issue in may (at least opinion has been published 10th of May 2024). That's quote from Google Play

I probably found the solution.

You said that there is no limit regarding checklists, but at the end of my long checklist I found the message:

"Too many items in this checklist. Remove some to add more."

Hello!

Apologies for the confusion earlier. I reached out to the dev team, and they provided a link containing the latest information on all the current limits in Trello. So in the UI, there is a hard limit of 500 checklists on a card. there is a hard limit of 200 items per checklist.
