Dear Trello team,

 

I am writing to seek your assistance regarding an issue I have encountered. Specifically, I have a card that has been set up for weekly repetition, and I am unable to stop this process. Additionally, I have attempted to identify the original card but have not been successful.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

This is a community forum so although members of the Trello team answer questions, it is likely to be community contributors, experts or just fellow users.

 

In answer to your question, this is not a bug.  Card repeater is designed this way.

 

You can identify which cards are the source cards for repeats by this icon on the card front:

And it will show this on the card back:

It is also worth noting that Card Repeater continues to run on cards that have been archived, check in your archive too...

Hello Mike, 

That clarified a lot! So, to completely get rid of a repeated card, do I need to delete it (from the archived items too)?

Or go to it and remove the repeat. By clicking the card repeat button on the right hand side of the card back.
