A colleague of mine reports that he receives all the notifications for a card that he does not watch and that he is not a member of. What could be the reason?

Is he being mentioned?

Only as plain text once in the body: "...we need Feedback from Charles."

He is not mentioned in a special way, like with an @ sign, and he has never posted anything in this card.

Without seeing your Trello board, it is hard to give further advice.

If it is not sensitive and if possible, please share some screenshots to help.

If not, I suggest you contact https://trello.com/contact and seek support, you can issue them temporary access to the board to investigate
