I'm unable to open cards on closed boards when I specifically search for a particular card. It was not the case before.

Is there are fix to it? Anyone else facing this issue?

Hi @Usama Arshad

Two things could be happening.

1. You may need to reopen the closed Trello board entirely to see a particular card. If you haven't tried this already, do this to open a closed board:

  • Go to your workspace
  • Click where it says, boards
  • In the Your Boards area, you'll see "View closed boards" at the bottom

2. Restricted Board Access. The other reason you may be unable to see particular cards on a closed board is you may not have access anymore. If that's the case, you can simply ask the board owner. There's also a chance "Do not show closed boards and archived cards" was marked as a filter when you searched.

If so, see this article on searching for cards in Trello https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/searching-for-cards-all-boards/

I hope this helps,

Michael

Also cannot open archived cards on open boards - I can delete them !!! or return them to board and then archive them again but a simple search showing all cards for a particular customer just shows a list with blank looking cards and no detail.  This was working fine two days ago - I use this extensively so its quite annoying
