Hi - I am in a team in a non-profit that does not have domain emails from the non-profit. (other teams do, but our team does not). Our team has been using Trello for a year now but got a notice that boards with more than 10 collaborators will be reduced to 10 collaborators (or something like that). So, we are looking at upgrading to keep our Trello stuff. But we will not stay with Trello at standard price. The non-profit discount sign up page requires domain name emails associated with the non-profit. Can our team sign up for the non-profit discount without domain name emails? Is there another venue where I should be asking this question?
Hi Brian, just a thought but you can buy a domain for a year for $0.99. It seems worth it for 75% discount.
It is also worth bearing in mind that you may be able to make use of single board guests if some of the members of your workspace are only on 1 board.
Example: If you upgrade to Trello Standard with 5 workspace members and 5 single-board guests, that is $25/month compared to $50/month if you have them all as workspace members.
Then throw in your domain to get the discount and it becomes very affordable. Plus you get some neat features you don't have now...
Lastly, you have time, the roll out of this change is happening in phases, so from 8th April you wont be able to add more people but you wont have to deal with removing folks or upgrading until end of May earliest...There is also an extension to the Trello Premium trial of 30 days so in theory you can keep going until end of June...
