Hi,
Users are setting up some of their own labels on boards and hence messing up the view and settings decided for the team.
Is there a way to lock some board settings such as creating/editing labels?
Also, when I move a card from a board to another, it will add up the origin labels to this new board, hence mixing both labels, is there a way to prevent that as well?
Thanks
Hi Jeffrey
There's not, unfortunately, a way to lock certain features like creating/editing labels on a board for users. The only permission changes available are observers (for Business Class) where the user would be read-only.
Additionally, there's not a way to stop a label from being created on a new board when a card is moved/copied over from a previous board.
Both great suggestions.. you can submit these as a feature request if you'd like.
Thanks Matthew, will do!

Hi there, also absolutely agreed with the suggestion as we also run into this "messy" label issue everyday due to open permission to the label control and working with multiple boards. Just wondering if we already have a feature request for this and what is its status?
1. When copy/move cards from other board, do not copy label by default (not common use case). This is the main reason why our boards got duplicate/messy labels
2. Only allow board admin to modify/add label

In order to make the labels/tags useful. there MUSTS be way to lock down at least a subset of label, maybe by color.

We would also like to lock down labels on boards. We had a user "delete" a label instead of just removing it from a card and it removed that label of dozens of cards. A real pain. If there is a feature request already great, if not I will make one.
