We are currently facing an unusual issue with Trello when using Planyway on the web. The page refreshes automatically every 2-3 seconds, without any user interaction or engagement with any board.
This problem began after we installed the Planyway extension in Chrome and logged in using the account linked to our Trello account.
When we uninstall the extension, the issue stops, and users can continue working as normal.
While avoiding the extension seems like a simple solution, we have over 20 users working collaboratively, and none of them are experiencing the same issue. Therefore, resolving this problem is somewhat critical.
Has anyone encountered this before or have any suggestions for resolving it?
After further investigation, I explored several additional potential solutions.
Initially, I hadn’t considered uninstalling the Chrome application, but I attempted that approach without success.
However, during my research, I came across an FAQ from Atlassian regarding browser cookies, which you can find here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/troubleshooting-browser-issues-with-trello/
This gave me the idea to check the stored cookies in Chrome.
I navigated to Chrome's settings, located, and deleted all saved cookies associated with Trello and Planyway. After doing so, I logged back into Trello and reconnected the Planyway account.
This resolved the issue, confirming that the problem was caused by the saved cookies.
