Does anyone know what is going on with the info in the main body of the cards dissapearing.
I work for a restoration company and we use trello to keep track of jobs. Each Job gets assigned to a project manager but everyone has access to the cards and they can update the body of the card with details of the job and work that was completed for the day.
My job is to take the updates and send them over to insurance company's, but for some reason randomly the updated info the crews are putting into the card just disappears.
Ive seen this happen live. Before i click on the card ill scroll down to read the info. All the new updated notes are there. but then ill click on the info to copy it or make grammar corrections. and then all the info just disappears right in front of my eyes. Please help.
Hey @Joe Bravo! When updating your card's description, are you clicking the empty space on the card's back or somewhere else on the card to save it? Or are you clicking the "X" icon in the top right corner? Typically, if there are unsaved changes to your card's description, you'll see a warning at the top of the description.
If you close the card using the "X" icon at the top right corner and then reopen it, or if you close and reopen the browser tab, you'll likely encounter this warning. To avoid this, make sure to click "Save" after editing your card's description. This will ensure your changes are saved and prevent your changes not being saved. Also, if anyone else makes changes simultaneously to the card while you're editing it, the last change will be the one saved on your card.
If you're still losing the content of your cards after checking if you're following the steps I mentioned, you can raise a ticket with us at https://trello.com/contact, and we'll be more than happy to help!

I have this problem if I edit a note in the mobile app. The following has helped me: When I see "unsaved changes" I click on the "Edit" button and then at the bottom of the card I click on the "Undo Changes" button, keep in mind that the ESC key and the close cross don't work that way. After that if I click again on the "Edit" button the text is no longer lost.
