I need to regain access to an account with an email address that's no longer active

I have a trello account which was created using an email address that I no longer have so when I try to regain access to that account it sends the reset instructions to the address I no longer have access to. How do I get around this?

To access your account, having access to your email is crucial as it ensures your security. If you're unable to contact your email provider to recover your email account, do you have any shared boards with others who could invite you to a new account? These are some possible workarounds.
