I want to be able to add dates to the calendar without using cards. I don't need to make a card for my dentist visit, it's a waste of time. But I do need to be able to add to the calendar. Everything I find online just tells you how to use the cards.
@Bonnie-Lynn Nadzeika Welcome to the Atlassian community
The Trello Calendar view shows the cards. If you have other items to display you can sync it with external calendars like Google Calendar and then it would display items like dentist appointments.

@Bonnie-Lynn Nadzeika you're looking at the Calendar view at the Workspace level. In order to sync with your external calendars (like Google Calendar), you can do this via Calendar view on the Board level.
I recommend you pick one of your boards listed under "Your Boards" and complete the steps listed in the Trello Help Article that @Brant Schroeder shared in his reply!

Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind. Glad I shared a screen shot.

Okay I'm all synced. But only the dates connected to Trello cards on visible on the calendar. I need one digital calendar that has everything. Still don't want to make a Trello board card for my dentist appointment.
Am I missing something? Probably.
