How to correct the exceeded the number of visible cards on a board

I used Unito Card Mirror free trial and now my boards have the message "You have exceeded the limit on the number of visible cards you can have on a board" 

I have another Trello account that has many more cards on boards and I've never seen this before. I've lost access to several cards and need that information. 

Any suggestions on how to correct? I've already turned off the Unito feature but it hasn't corrected the problem.

Trello boards have a hard limit of 5000 open cards on a board: https://trello.com/1/resources/limits

Is this the limit you're facing? If so, you will need to archive or delete some cards. 

Is the error you're getting instead related to Unito? If so, I would recommend reaching out to Unito support about it.
