How to copy a checklist item without losing him from the actual list?

When we use the option to convert an item to a card, is there any way that item can remain in the current Checklist, for control after the task is closed?

@seralterego yep you can use Butler for this, i did this example where you can "sub task" a checklist and check off each item as its linked card is archived:

This means you convert everything to a linked card at the start, rather than on a case-by-case basis.

@Iain Dooley Wow! That's incredible...just like I imagined it! Thanks a lot! I'll apply this right now to my projects! Thanks again!
