How do I reduce the amount of white space/padding on cards?

It looks like a recent app update has kept text size the same but increased the amount of white space on each card.
This means I can view fewer cards at a time. Using the zoom button shrinks the text size proportionally so not a usable option for me.

Any setting I can use to “undo” this recent app update?

Yeah there is too much space between the cards now. Very inconvenient. Please uno this change.
