The keyboard shortcuts in trello are almost "too short." Please, can you consider requiring "shift" or "control" as part of the command, to make it more intentional?
I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally archived a card simply because I started typing "c" - the first letter of many a coworker's first name - when I thought I was in a dialog box on a card. I often catch the error and see the archive banner, but a few times in the haste of work life, I have not seen the banner only to discover an important task got archived. Thanks for considering.
Hello, Christy
Welcome to the community.
Thanks for the feedback, currently there's no native option to either change the shortcuts but there's a feature request open to disable then, that also can be useful. I’ve added you as a “+1” to our existing suggestion, which you can access here: TRELLO-100
I have also added this question as an internal comment to this report so that way our engineering team can reference to it and also use it to help align priority. I would also recommend you to visit that suggestion, login with your Atlassian account, and click Start watching this issue on the right panel. This will help our product and engineering team understand more about which functionalities our users are interested in. Also, when the ticket is updated by our product team, you'll be notified via email.
You can learn more about this by reading our Implementation of New Features Policy:

If you have any questions about this suggestion, any additional information you would like to share, or any comments on our new features policy, please let us know!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I completely agree with this suggestion! Everyone in our office is always complaining "how did this card get archived"? It look us forever to figure out there was probably a keyboard command, and then we still couldn't figure out what it actually was! I have neuropathy in my hands from having chemotherapy, and so I'm not as precise a touch typist as before, and at least once a day I bang into whatever the "archive" key is and archive a card by accident. Please fix this.
