Email to board #lkabelcolor

I am emailing to a board to create a new card and wish to apply a specific label colour. The instructions on the Trello help suggests to use the to doi the following;

Labels: In the subject, add #labelname, #labelcolor, or #labelnumber

My question is how do you specify the actual color to use?, When I added #red to the subject line it just came out as text, it did not place a red lable on the card.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Hi there, I'm from Trello Support and I'm able to help.

I tested this on our own boards, and it works if you put the label before the title of the card in the email subject. So my email looked like this:

Subject: #red Title
Email Body: Description

This created a new card with a red label on it.
