Hello Community!
I opened up my Trello Board today and suddenly all of the cards in my "Done" list have a checkmark in a circle and the card title are formatted with strikethrough... I have never seen this before and have no idea what change could have occurred to bring this feature in.
I use the "Done" List to create invoices and the strikethrough makes it really hard to read the card titles easily (especially numbers.) Can someone tell me whey this feature has shown up and if I can revert or turn it off?
Many thanks.
Oliver.
This is a new feature in Trello that just rolled out. Read about it here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/mark-a-card-as-complete/ (also include how to turn it off partially)
The strike through part does not seem to be able to be turned off for now (allready added a feature request for it)
Thanks Rasmus. Yeah, I can see the strike through being a nice option with an automation trigger, but by default is perhaps having unintended consequences for some user's workflows. I suppose in the meantime I can create an automation to remove the due date and move the card to my "done" list. I don't the strike through is triggered without a due date. Nevertheless, hope they can allow some customization as per your feature request!

Unintended consequence with repeater/copied cards. If the original card title is complete/checked, the copied repeater card is also checked. When I disable the new Complete Status feature, cards already on the board remain complete with the strikethrough.

Interesting. I sort of feel like this feature was a solution in search of a problem. I was happy using labels/lists/archive to indicate completeness of a job. I would much rather have card cover colours added to automation as a heightened completion indicator. However, I can't imagine something like this strikethrough gets added without a good number requesting it...
