Hi All,
Im on a free plan for now but i would like to add an outsider to only view the board i want to invite them too.
Can this be done so he cant edit it and only view the board and the lists in them?
I cant allow them to see the other boards i may have.
Cheers
@Paul Jimenez you don't need to upgrade your workspace - people can only see content of the boards they are invited to. For instance, if you have a workspace with Board A and Board B, and you add a person to Board A, they will NOT be able to see Board B. Even if they are workspace members, you can set a boards visibility to private instead of the default "Workspace visible", which would then prevent even workspace members from seeing content in that board unless specifically invited to that board. Let me know if that makes sense!
@Paul Jimenez if this was helpful, would you mind clicking the Accept Answer button so folks who are looking for the same know there's an answer in here?

Hi @Paul Jimenez
welcome to the community!
On a free Trello plan, you can invite an outsider to view only a specific board without editing it or seeing other boards.
Guest Invite: Open the board, click "Invite," enter their email, and send the invitation.
Grant Permisiions: Click "Members," find the guest, click their name, and set their role to "Observer."
As an Observer, they can view the board but can't edit anything or access other boards.

Hi Kugbe
Thanks for the reply.
I don't seem to have the invite button only share and when i click on it observer option is an upgrade option only.

I stand to be corrected (:
Based on the image, it appears that you have had this account for more than 14 days, which is the duration given to use that feature.
I just created a new account using the free trial plan, and it allows me to do it. However, I presume this feature will only be available to me for the free trial period.
However, with an upgrade plan you will be able to do so.
Best of luck to you (:
