There are 2 major formatting problems I've noticed when sending a comment to a Card via email (Card > Share > Email for this card)...
1. The email subject line is always bold in Trello
Anything typed into the subject line of my email client (Gmail) will be bold when it shows up in the comments of my card in Trello. This feels unauthentic because I don't normally bold the first line of everything I comment.
So, I tried leaving the email subject line blank. But...
2. Empty email subject lines result in a horizontal line in Trello
When I leave the email subject line blank (to avoid bold formatting), Trello outputs a horizontal line in the first line of the comment. Again, this is unauthentic because no one adds an hr to the beginning of their comment.
Does anyone know how to fix either of these 2 problems?
Hi @Justin Carroll - Thanks for reaching out to the Community! I had a play around our editor's markdown features and unfortunately wasn't able to find anything to stop the horizontal rules from being created. I would be keen to hear if any other users have come up with any creative workarounds.
Thanks for taking a look, Lam. Hopeful someone has the answer! Although, if it's a bug, is there a way to report it?
