Best way to use Trello for projects that renew annual (in our case an event)

How are you using Trello for projects that repeat each year?

Our economic development group hosts an annual event. In 2018, we planned it in trello and will again in 2019.

I'm looking for tips on how to do this most efficiently:

- Copy the Board and use complicated labels? 

- Copy the Board and add more lists?

- Something else?

I think this will help you set the same cards to renew or be copied automatically, amongst other useful tasks.  

I don't use it myself but I've just been looking into power-ups and that should help.
