Assign the item to member wont work anymore

I had set this task for Trello and it worked for a while. Suddenly, without me changing anything, it no longer works. The member is only assigned to the card (2nd action), but the 1st action, that the member is assigned to this item, suddenly no longer works.
What could be the reason? Is this a premium feature?

Yes, that is correct. The advanced checklist features, like assigning a member or setting a due date to a checklist item, are part of our Premium subscription. If you are interested in trying Premium, you can now do so for free for 14 days. Learn more
