👋 Hi everyone!
I built a Trello extension in PixieBrix that lets you highlight text on any web page and send it to a Trello card. It can also send over web page metadata like URL.
📺 Here's a 1.5 min demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BtlkFV4o4Q
(start at 0:55 if you want to skip the configuration part and just see it in action)
I use this extension to keep track of bloggers and articles that I come across and want to go back to. In some ways, it's a similar behavior to Pinterest.
If you're not familiar with it, PixieBrix is a low code browser extension builder, so there are many ways it could integrate with Trello.
💜 Please let me know if you have any feedback, questions, or requests!
Thanks!
Mike
Hi Vikash,
PixieBrix can send over any page metadata that the site exposes to search engines like Google. Here's a list of All meta tags that Google understands.
See below for an example of a PixieBrix extension that sends highlighted text plus the following metadata to a Google Sheet (but it could send this to Trello):
Demo: Right Click Actions
Hope this helps!
Mike
