Do new Cloud Migration Technical Delivery Accreditations require Maintenance?

Hi,

I'm looking to sit for the Cloud Migration Technical Delivery Accreditation to complete my portfolio of accreditations. I see there's also a Fall 2024 maintenance accreditation in Atlassian University that's due 31 October 2024. Would I be required to complete the maintenance course in addition to the accreditation, or will completing the accreditation suffice?

The Atlassian University page also mentions the maintenance course needs to be completed no later than 31 January. If I need to sit for the maintenance course in addition to the accreditation, would it be better to wait until the course updates from the maintenance package are rolled into the accreditation?

Maintenance packages are separate. They must be taken into to maintain your core accreditation. You should take it before the due date.

Thanks for the reply. My concern is the due date - for Cloud Migration, the accreditation maintenance course says it's due Oct 31, 2024. Assuming I complete the Cloud Migration TDA accreditation, how long do I have to finish the Cloud Migration TDA accreditation maintenance?

Hi Yi,

you have already missed the date. The finally due date was Jan 31st of January for the maintenance. You can see it in the screenshot that @Ben Dollinger provided. At this point, you’ll just need to finish the cloud TDA and then make sure the complete next maintenance before the due date. You may want to check with Atlassian support to see if they support an extension for maintenance. All the best.

I can understand your questions because my colleagues had similar thoughts about this topic.

As @Benj already answered, the Accreditation Maintenance packages are separate.
These packages have due dates to maintain your Accreditation. You can see an overview here

If you did not achieve the core Accreditation first, it will be shown like this:

You will also get an email reminder if you need to maintain your accreditation. These mails will look like this:

"Dear Yi Ming Kuan,

Your Atlassian Cloud Migration Technical Delivery Accreditation is scheduled for renewal on 1/31/2025.

To maintain your accreditation visit the Enablement Academy to complete the training and fulfill applicable Atlassian Certification requirements.

Doing this work helps ensure your associated skills and knowledge are up-to-date and you have access to the latest information.

Renewal Requirements:

• Completion of Cloud Migration Technical Delivery Accreditation Maintenance Package
