The beginning of the year is often a time for setting goals for the year ahead. We’re getting this year going with an exciting event from Team Playbook Live - Measure What Matters: Rethink goal-setting in 2025.

Teamwork Lab leaders Molly Sands (Head of the Teamwork Lab) and Allison White (Behavioral Scientist) will be leading an interactive session exploring Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) — the powerful framework shared in author John Doerr’s Measure What Matters.

In This Workshop, You’ll Learn:

  • What we get wrong about goals and the research around good goal-setting

  • Tips for creating inspiring Objectives and measurable Key Results

  • Ways to align personal or team goals with larger organizational goals

  • Examples of good goals vs. bad goals

Join us live on January 28th at 11am PST!

Plus, if you come back to this article after watching the session, you can earn a brand new Playbook Live: Goal Getters badge! Just comment below to share what you learned.

What a great session. I love that you are using the tools you build to track goals. I really like the data driven OKR and how to use those numbers to help your success of goal tracking. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Thank you Lauren, Molly and Allison for sharing. Lots of helpful information. I will be watching the video. My Team Leads and I discovered last quarter we had lead our team to success by identifying training goals two to three quarters in advance. However, our success was not visible to anyone other than our team. Your workshop provided ideas on how to improve in this area. Thank you again.

Very grateful for the Teamwork Lab's insights on conveying progress on qualitative performance goals in a quantitative-goal-only enterprise environment.

Translating individual/team progress on qualitative goals in orgs that equate positive ROI to profits or other similar quantitative results, and nothing else, has been a struggle.

The Teamwork Lab shared insights and tactics that offered realistic and pragmatic actions for middle-of-the-pack managers and folks who do not have leadership/stakeholder-level power in corporate decisions. There's lot of info and advice for the very top, first level mgrs, and associates--but not always a lot of feasible advice for mid-managers!

I really appreciate that the Teamwork Lab considered this in your answers. Y'all shared several methods to modify to our situations that can streamline and increase clarity when communicating connections between individual and org goals both for associates and leaders. Thank you!
