Can a user close their ticket?

Hello,

 

Do you know if it's possible for a user to interact /close their own request on a Jira Service Management Next-gen project?

 

We would like the user to be the sole decision maker of the closure of his ticket, and want to set up an automatic closure automation rule if they didn't respond after 48 hours .. but I don't know if this is possible.

 

Can you help me please ?

Thanks for your reply but we don't have these options in our workflow because we are using a next-gen project.

 

My question is mainly to know if a user can close a ticket on this type of project ?
