Is it possible that Jira time reporting connects to Team calendar on Confluence

Nozomi Watanabe February 24, 2022

Hi all,

I need your warm help.

Is there any way to automate so that when we update JIRA it updates team calendar on Confluence?

I am working on work time management for my team, and we currently use log time on Jira to manage workloads in the team.

And we also register leaves information on team calendar on confluence, in that case we need to log time again on Jira too because we should know when they take day-offs to calculate the worktime.

So we are seeking if there is a way that we update or raise a Jira for leaves then team calendar will automatically update or vice versa.

Please kindly help me out if you have any ideas.

Thank you.

Hi @Srinatha T ,

Thank you so much for the solution.

Now I tried out but it seems doesn't work unfortunately.

I implemented this JQL as instructed in the page:

project = "<YOUR IT SERVICE PROJECT NAME>" AND issuetype = "[System] Change"

I replaced "YOUR IT SERVICE PROJECT NAME" with the actual project name, but no even is shown up in the calendar.

And no time logged in Jira as well.

Our expectation is to be logged the time when we add event in the calendar.

It might be not possible but if there is, that would be really great.

Thank you,

BR
