Setting up Non-statuspage domain

David Baxter March 12, 2020

Getting this message:  "Although you have custom HTML published for your header and/or footer, you need to be on a non-statuspage.io domain to see it. See our note on security for more information."

On the DNS configuration getting a Host Record error for the cname.

Trying to give my network guys information on how to configure this but coming up short on the needs and how to configure it.

FBBRANCHSTATUS is the statuspage and looking to utilize HTTPS://FBBRANCHSTATUS.COM for the domain.

The see our note on security takes me to the bottom of this page https://help.statuspage.io/help/using-custom-html#security but does not provide any information.

Could not find a step by step guide.

Hi David,

Not sure if you've been able to figure this out, but you need to make sure you've set up a custom domain via the Management Portal. To do this navigate to - Your Page -> Customize page and emails -> Scroll down and enter Custom domain. Then on the sidebar click DNS Configuration. Provide your Network team the CNAME record there.

If you're experiencing issues, recommending raising a ticket with support: https://help.statuspage.io/help/contact-us-30

Thanks,
