How is my overall uptime on /uptime calculated?

Edited

[This documentation](https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/display-historical-uptime-of-components/) details how uptime is calculates for individual components, but I am looking for an explanation for for how the monthly uptime percentage displayed on /uptime across my entire system is calculated.

**Update:** Nevermind, I failed to notice that /uptime only tracks uptime on a component-by-component basis, and there is no such thing as "overall" uptime.

Hey Steve,

There is a top level page status that could help get your part of what you're looking for, though there isn't a percentage uptime like you would see with individual components.

I'd suggest reading through this kb article

Can we get this as a feature global percentage would be nice to have
