Avoid auto update of the active maintenance message

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
While creating a scheduled maintenance , We have an option to set the Title and Message.
Once the maintenance window starts , the active maintenance message is automatically getting changed. We would like to stop this and have the same message that we have given during the creation of the scheduled maintenance.
Please let us know how to set up this ?.
