Update to setting up Microsoft Teams connection to Statuspage

Hi Statuspage Community,

Microsoft recently announced they were retiring the existing Office 365 connectors within Microsoft Teams, impacting the Microsoft Teams integration and notifications with Statuspage. As a result, current webhook URLs will only be available for use until January 31, 2025.

  1. For page subscribers: You will need to re-subscribe with a new webhook URL

    1. While not mandatory, after re-subscribing with a new webhook URL, page subscribers can unsubscribe from their current subscriptions to avoid duplicate notifications up till January 31, 2025.

  2. For admins: On the MS Teams app in the Statuspage Manage portal, you need to either update the existing channels or create new channels

In order to set up new connections or resubscribe from Microsoft Teams to the Statuspages you would like to subscribe to, please refer to our support documentation on how you can generate new webhook URLs.

We will continue to communicate if there are any further updates.

If you’ve got questions or comments, please add them below and a member of our team will jump in to answer.

Thank you for this information.  Very helpful!  After setting up the webhook with MS Teams, I see all of the posts in the teams as being from my email address.  Is this because I'm the admin for my status page and it's picking up the email tied to my Atlassian account which I used to add the webhook in the apps section?
