sourcetree crashes when editing origin remote (3.3.9)

the title kind of says it all

i need to edit the origin remote to unckeck default remote and rename it to origin-old, but when i try to edit it, sourcetree crashes (both with doubleclick and clicking the edit button)

i can edit my other remote(s) juse fine, its only the origin remote

how do i fix this?

In your repo, click on settings (rightmost icon). Click on Advanced.

Edit config file (bottom left). The file should open in a text editor.

Now quit Sourcetree, then edit the config file. Save.

Launch Sourcetree again.
