I've installed the embeddable git with SourceTree on Windows.
I used to click "Terminal" to get a nice *NIX like prompt with git available on the command line (as described here -- ignore the question; just showing someone else has seen the bash command line, and I'm not crazy).
Now I just get a plain jane system32 DOS console window when I click "Terminal".
I haven't reinstalled SourceTree or anything wack that might understandably cause this. I've onlyupdated when requested, and just tried "Update Embedded Git" in the Options, just to see if that'd help.
Thanks.
I encountered the same problem today.
Yesterday, it was opening git bash. But today, it's opening cmd.exe
It turns out that SourceTree opens cmd.exe for hg repositories, and git bash for git repositories.
I just had this happen in the past few days.
