Sourcetree 1.3.3.0 stackdumps for sed, basename, sh, uname

I'm getting stackdumps for MSYS inside SourceTree version 1.3.3.0 inside of my test git repositories. This happens both when I let Sourcetree download the embedded git version and when Sourcetree is configured during installation to use an existing Git installation (specifically Git-1.8.4-preview20130916.exe from git-scm.org).

OS = Windows 8.1 Pro (version 6.3.9600)

Only additional software installed is Chrome and Microsoft EMET 4.1

Side note: Win 8.1 essentially has Microsoft Security Essentials built-in.
