I had to update my github password and I can login to GitHub.com fine, but when I try to push or pull from SourceTree it either gives me an invalid username or password error right away or it prompts me for the username and password again then gives me the invalid username or password error.

For me, this happened all the time after I made my e-mail private.

On the page https://github.com/settings/emails, you can see your alternative address to use, probably [username]@users.noreply.github.com.

Hi

Can you try using a Personal Access Token https://help.github.com/articles/creating-a-personal-access-token-for-the-command-line/  and try to push/pull using command line Git?

I believe it might be an issue with the Git Credential Manager which is bundled with Git.

Thanks
