Seeing changes by file

13m2 July 3, 2013

Hello all,

I am using Git with Sourcetree for version control of a WordPress site. There are many different files in my project. I may work on a page-template, then a CSS file, a functions file, another template and so on.

My main window shows all my commits, across all files in chronological order. I would like to limit that to one file, so that I can check all the changes I made to only that particular file.

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

Hi Andre,

You can context-click on a file and hit "Log Selected" to reveal a new window which shows log entries for just that file.

Hope that helps

Yes, that was exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks Kieran!
