Is it possible to recoved commited files that were not pushed?

My computer had its OS reinstalled, but all my files were backed up.  I had commited files, then switched branches before the OS was reinstalled.  Is it possible to get those commited files?

Hi Matthew, if you didn't push the changes to the remote repository and you didn't save your modified changes, then those changes are lost. However you mentioned all your files were backed up so you should be able to continue from the same stage where you left it.
