I just downloaded Sourctree for Mac and Apple would not open the software because it could not valid

“Sourcetree” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

wouldn't apple, still offer a installation prompt? although it cant be scanned for malicious software it usually gives a message stating this software is dangerous do you wish to proceed.
